Festive Moscow Mule Cocktail

We added a festive touch to one of our go-to drinks, the Moscow Mule. It's the perfect holiday drink for you to sip on while you're listening to some holiday tunes.

Ingredients & Materials

Copper mug

Ice cubes

1 shot of vodka

8 oz of ginger beer

Juice of one lime

1 Tbsp of cranberry juice

Hand full of raw cranberries and slice of lime for garnish

Instructions:

Fill copper mug with ice, add a shot of vodka (or to preference), cranberry juice and fill the rest with ginger beer.

Then sprinkle some raw cranberries in there for a garnish plus a few lime slices and there you go!

Mandy's Coconut Refresh Smoothie

This yummy smoothie is perfect after a morning work-out. It's full of nutrients to refresh your body and increase your energy. Coconut is the key here! It contains five essential electrolytes that are present in the body. These include calcium, magnesium, phosphorous, potassium and sodium. Potassium helps with muscle recovery and maca powder keeps your energy going all day! If you suffer with allergies, try taking local bee pollen everyday to decrease your symptoms. Enjoy!

12oz organic coconut water

1/2 organic banana (I prefer frozen)

Handful of frozen organic pineapple

1 cup organic spinach

1 cup organic kale

Pinch of fresh organic mint

1Tbs. Organic Raw Coconut Butter

1Tbs. Organic Chia seeds

1Tbs. Maca Powder for energy. I prefer Viva Labs brand

1 tsp. LOCAL bee pollen

Several ice cubes if you like it colder

Instructions: Mix all in a heavy duty blender!

Gluten Free Pumpkin Pancakes

It's that time of year again...pumpkin everything! We made our own delicious gluten free pancakes.

Ingredients:

2 cups gluten-free flour

3 tablespoons brown sugar

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

1 1⁄2 cups almond milk

1 cup canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix)

1⁄4 cup butter, melted

2 large egg yolks

4 large egg whites

2 teaspoons vanilla

1/4 crushed almonds, if desired
